Expressive names

Posted by chris on Jan 17th, 2007

While vacationing at the Squaw Valley ski resort, I got my lunch from a burger stand that had the brilliant name: Hamburger Express. It was a choice between that or a little fast food stand right next to it that sold tacos and bore the just-as-brilliant name: Taco Express.

Somebody very high up must’ve had an epiphany, realizing that food always sounds about 250% tastier when the word “Express” is tacked onto the end of it…

This trend gives a brand new (and quite disturbing) meaning to the Chinese fast food chain, Panda Express.
