A couple of years ago, Dan was on a quest to try as many beers as possible within a year. At a restaurant he asked the waitress what kind of beers they had and she rambled off a list. He picked one he’d never heard of.

Think it should have been her responsibility to tell him it was a non-alcoholic beer? It tasted terrible but he drank it anyway, like a champ.

If she knew and didn’t say anything, that’s negligence.

Or maybe she thought he was a recovering alcoholic and didn’t want to potentially enable him. And to this day, she lays awake, still worrying about whether she made the right choice that fateful night, years ago.
